Yuanbo Chen (b.1996, Wenzhou China) is a photographer working between Shanghai and London but spent his childhood in Gabon. He got a bachelor degree in Beijing Film Academy in 2018 in China and a master degree in Royal College of Art in 2021 in UK. Since he experienced diversity in the environment, the life issues between overseas Chinese and domestic, nostalgia and region collective or family memories are his main concerns. In order to expand the language of photography, he will use staging, embroidery, and making installations among his practices.
